How to Prepare to Photograph Alaskan Brown Bears - Charles Schinner - February Speaker Series and Member Meeting

Do you want to become much more adventurous? Get out to the wilds of Alaska? Photograph large and dangerous animals under trying conditions? Well, maybe just see how it’s done from the comfort of the Anza Room or your own living room? Attend Speaker Series this February!

Charles Schinner, Master and Craftsman Photographer and full time Tucson resident will present "How to Prepare to Photograph Alaskan Brown Bears.”

Information presented is from a wildlife photographer's perspective not a naturalist or biological view point. It can apply to shooting (with a camera of course) any large animals in the Pacific Northwest, Canada and Alaska.

Have you always wanted to go photograph the brown bears of Alaska?

This presentation will assist you in getting ready to do so.

What are the conditions like and how to prepare for them will be covered along with shooting suggestions and resulting images.  Why use a knowledgeable guide or lodge?

The presentation will be live in the Anza Room and also presented on Zoom. You will also be able to catch the presentation after the fact on YouTube.

To attend this event, you must be a member of GVR. The Zoom link will be provided in your confirmation email after you register for the event.
