Apple “Photos Application” on a Mac

All Apple devices (desktops, laptops, iPads and iPhones) come with a “Photos” Application where images and videos are stored. This two-session class will cover how the images are stored and organized on the Mac. It will include all of the extensive editing tools and multiple ways to share your photos including the NEW way Apple is making books, cards, and other products. (For the Mobile Devices, iPhone and iPad, sign up for the iPhone and iPad Editing and Organizing class on January 31. This class is also repeated on February 28.)

Class 1: This class will cover the various ways to import images into Photos, and the ways to organize them. We will spend much of the time going over the new editing tools. We will also cover sharing your images through e-mail, messages, and Facebook.

Class 2:  This class will cover more ways your photos can be organized and the rest of the advanced editing tools. Your photos contain information, so we will look at that, enter keywords, and set up search criteria. You will learn how to create a slideshow with titles, transitions, and music. We will also cover the NEW way Apple does books, cards, calendars, and printing. Finally, we will look at ways to export photos and slideshows
