Bird Photography: Tohono Chul Park

Cost is $15

Tohono Chul: where nature, art and culture connect! Located in northern Tucson, it has a variety of plants and animals having remarkable survival skills adapted to an often inhospitable climate. The park honors the confluence of cultures that interconnects with the natural environment, thus contributing to the distinctive regional character.

Led by bird and nature expert, Sandy McMahan, who is a long-time teacher and trip leader. Whether you're an expert birder/photographer or a beginner, you will enjoy Sandy's narratives. If you have binoculars, you may want to bring them along. A small notebook and pen or pencil would be useful to record your sightings.

Be sure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes. A hat and water are suggested.  Lunch is on your own or at the park bistro.

Meet at the Camera Club at 7:45 AM for carpooling.  We will leave for Tohono  Park at 8:00 AM. If carpooling $15 is the appropriate amount to split among the riders for gas.

Linda Gregory will be our leader.  For questions call Linda at 520-625-5121 or email at lsgregaz@gmail.com.

Last refund date is October 23, 2019.
