Bird Photography: Sweetwater Wetlands After the Burn -- FREE!

Sweetwater Wetlands is the top birding area in the Tucson metro area. This water-rich streamside riparian zone supports a huge variety of wildlife, including dragonflies, raccoons, hawks, bobcats and dozens of other species that make the wetlands their full- or part-time home.  Paths are flat and either decomposed granite or gravel.

If you have binoculars, you may want to bring them along. A small notebook and pen or pencil would be useful to record your sightings.

Be sure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes. A hat and water are suggested.  Bring your lunch so you can spend as much time as you want observing birds and activities that weren't visible when the reeds were very high.

Meet at the Camera Club at 8 AM for carpooling.  We will leave for Sweetwater at 8:15 AM. Bring your lunch.

Linda Gregory will be our leader.  For questions call Linda at 520-625-5121 or email at lsgregaz@gmail.com.
