Bird/Nature Photography: Ft. Lowell Park/Tucson Urban Parks 2/21/2023

 Cost - $12

One of the goals of the nature/bird photography field trips is to introduce you to excellent birding places that are close by.  Tucson has many parks where people often see unusual birds. One of the parks is Fort Lowell Park where a lagoon has a remarkable array of scenery and wildlife given its urban setting.  Waterfowl are abundant.

We will keep an eye on recent birding reports to determine other potentially excellent birding areas that can be easily reached.

If you have binoculars, you may want to bring them along. A small notebook and pen or pencil would be useful to record your sightings.

Be sure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes. A hat and water are suggested.  Bring your lunch so you can spend as much time as you want observing birds and activities that weren't visible when the reeds were very high.

Meet at the Photography Club at 8 AM for carpooling.  If you don't feel comfortable carpooling, you can drive yourself.  We will leave for Tucson at 8:15 AM. Bring your lunch.

Mike McMinn will be our leader. For questions call Mike at (810)516-0220 or email at mikefore@comcast.net

GVR requires that every person participating in club's field trips must sign a waiver absolving GVR of any liability.  You will be required to sign the waiver at the camera club before the trip departs.

If you need to canceI please contact Field Trip Coordinator Lynn Rozema at (719) 351-5193 or lrozema51@gmail.com. On the day of departure call Mike.

Last date for refund is February 14, 2023.
