Guy Atchley has served for more than 30 years as anchor at KGUN 9 TV in Tucson. During his tenure Guy has traveled all over the state for his series Guy Atchley's Arizona. Along the way Guy swept the Arizona AP awards one year by winning three first-place honors including: Best Serious Feature, Best Light Feature, and Best General Reporting in the State. Guy also was honored for his reports on living conditions in China, and -- for his reporting on the Middle East -- Guy earned the Human Relations Award from the Jewish Community Relations Council. You may have seen Guy's cameos in several movies: "Jericho Fever," which was produced for the USA Cable Network, the remake of "Vanishing Point" for Fox TV, and the independent film "Runnin' at Midnite." And in case you're wondering, Guy played the role of a reporter in each film. Guy remains appreciative to KGUN 9 for allowing him to seek out the positive stories in the Grand Canyon state. And today he continues that calling with his photography, which now closes out each newscast on KGUN 9.
