November Travelogue

velogue meets Tuesday November 14, 2017 at 7:00PM at the Anza Room, Santa Rita Springs- directly next door to your Camera Club. Holly Chorba will be your hostess.
BOO! is the story of art we see during Day of the Dead in Mexico and the Southwest. But In BOO! we will go far beyond the ordinary, using images and music to dive into the origins, evolution and current trends in this one-of-kind form of artistic expression. BOO! is also a travelogue, because Blyth and Russ Carpenter took two field trips to put this presentation together, one to Taos, New Mexico and the other to Oaxaca, Mexico.
Paul McCreary will
present a golden show of “Aspens and Mines” from his late September trip to Ouray County, Colorado.
Patsy Sills will take us north to Alaska, a land of beautiful scenery and fascinating wildlife.
Wally Watson will make his Travelogue debut by presenting an interesting, educational view of
Scotland and Its famous Edinburgh Castle.
Travelogue depends upon members who spend time not only traveling, but producing a presentation for the others. PLEASE share your adventures with us! Seats are available for all GVR members. Invite your friends to come and see what can be done though GVR Camera Club. It could be YOU on that big screen in the coming months.
Those of you who have worked hard at ProShow classes, or iMovie, or Multi-Media SIG, this is your chance to shine! Please email me at hollychorba@gmail.com if you have a program to share on the big
screen, or drop off your thumb drive with a .mov or .mpeg 4 show in the Travelogue folder at the club.
