Kartchner Caverns State Park Photographer's Tour

Cost $110 - Last day to register is March 12th. After 3 months of negotiating with Kartchner Caverns tour personnel, we are excited to offer a 2 hour photographer's tour of the Rotunda and Throne Rooms just for our members at a discounted price. You will be allowed to take photographs with or without a tripod. Living Caverns are extremely rare and being allowed to take pictures is even rarer. Our group will have a private tour with Park Rangers after the park has closed.
In addition to AZ State Parks being named best State Parks in the US, Kartchner has won several first place awards from USA Today. Kartchner is so unique and phenomenal that its discovery was not announced for 4 years. Protecting this living environment is the highest priority; therefore, no cameras are allowed during other tours of the Caverns. Kartchner Caverns offers a special opportunity four times a year for a very limited number of people to photograph areas of the Caverns ($125.00 per person.)
There are some specific rules:
1. Nothing in the caverns may be touched to prevent destroying living organisms.
2. All attendees must sign an agreement upon arriving at the Park that
individuals will not sell any pictures and that the AZ State Parks can have access to all pictures taken. A sample of this agreement can be viewed HERE.
Refunds for this event will not be issued based on failure to sign this agreement upon arrival at Kartchner Caverns.
3. You provide your own camera equipment including tripods.
