Día de San Juan - Splash Fest

Join park staff and visitors at Tumacácori National Historical Park to celebrate Día de San Juan on June 24, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Día de San Juan, a day to celebrate the birth of Saint John the Baptist, is also the day on which people all over Mexico welcome the summer season and celebrate the arrival of summer “monsoon” rains. This holiday is a great opportunity to enjoy a fun-filled day in the sun playing a variety of refreshing water games.

During Tumacácori’s “Día de San Juan Splash Fest,” visitors to the park can enjoy an afternoon of water games, and delicious ice cold refreshments! Visitors can expect games such as sponge toss, the “monsoon tunnel” walk, and more. Games and a limited supply of squirters will be provided by the park - come prepared to get wet!
